"Challenging You To Become All God Created You To Be"

  Know Fear?

What do you fear? The future, commitment, failure, loneliness, death, God?

We will be looking at Know Fear a study by Ed Young, Jr. that addresses the Six Most Common Phobias of life. Together, we will learn how to transform our fear to faith through a true, biblical understanding of the fear of God.

Call us at 947-4594 or e-mail us  to find out how to be a part of this new discussion group.

HomeTeams

HomeTeams are small discussion groups of 6-12 people meeting in homes across the area.  HomeTeams meet on different nights and at different times.  These groups exist to provide friendship, support and encouragement.

As Mountain Pointe Church continues to reach the Knoxville Area, we must grow larger and smaller at the same time. Connecting people in a small group is not an optional sub-ministry of the church. It is the church in its smallest form. We are called to live the Christian life with the support of others. Members helping one another is Christ's plan for the church.

In the book of Acts, Luke records the tremendous growth of the first church in Jerusalem. Small group meetings in homes were the foundation of the early church. Acts 5:42 tells us that the people met "in the temple courts" (large group worship) and "from house to house" (small group fellowship). Jesus did much of his ministry in homes and early Christians continued to meet in homes for fellowship, study and discipleship.
